Photographing a Lavender field with Guy Edwardes and PhotoPlus Magazine

I was invited by Guy Edwardes to be his “apprentice” for a shoot for PhotoPlus Magazine. The location was on the Dorset and Wiltshire borders and it was an epic morning. We arrived at around 3:30 am in the hope of a glorious sunrise, but it wasn’t that glorious. Even so, we shot a great range of interesting imagery. Using every thing from a fish eye through to a big wildlife lens. I was greatly impressed by Guy’s new tripod by Sachtler…I think deeply impressed would be the word I’d use.
