Chiseldon House Hotel

Chiseldon House hotel is one of our favorite local venues for us. It’s about a 15 mins drive from our studio and it’s fantastically located just off Junction 15 on the M4. It’s in a quiet and secluded area , perfect for a wedding venue and offers a very friendly service. Parking is plentifull and with easy access to the main house. The grounds are excellent for photography, either summer or winter weddings have a variety of shooting options here. Although I prefer shooting there when the Wisteria is out of season (although it makes a stunning portrait backdrop, it makes group photos a challenge). There’s lots of seasonal flowers in the gardens, snow drops, daffodills, Blue bells…there’s always something special to include in the photos here.

The front of the property is great for formal and group shots, and the entrance to the right is fantastic for small group photos too. It looks great with a vintage wedding car too. Inside has a really impressive stair case which dominates the hallway, lots of photo opportunities here. The Borelli room is a great place for aperitifs in winter, or the gardens and surrounding grounds are perfect for socilising over refreshments. The Borelli room can also provide an excellent place for a Civil Service and is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies. It can comfortably seat around 60 guests for a civil service, or around 80 for a standing service.

The orangery is the Chiseldon House Hotel’s restaurant and bar area, and is a great at catering up to 85 seated guests. The Chiseldon House Hotel is recognised by the RAC, the Michelin Guide and offers an excellent and friendly service. The food and drink is great and the space works well. There’s plenty of room for live music too, for later celebrations. Although this venue isn’t the biggest in terms of if maxium capacity, it certainly one of the most friendly and warmest of venues and 85 guest is very usefull size.
